Missions :
The candidate is responsible for sales activities in an assigned territory and or customers list and or vertical market. Specifically he will have a financial sales objective to achieve within the strategy agreed with the division management, and should secure purchase orders of process analyzers and systems.
Projects leading to analyzers purchasing are generated by customer's market or regulatory requirements as production capacity increase, cost savings projects, regulatory upgrades, leading to the need for new plant sections or plants modification creating an opportunity for analyzers sale. In this context, the candidate is responsible for the different steps till sales purchase order: he will thus follow:
- Early identification of projects of end user industry or CE;
- Identification of the project phases till purchase order and relevant decision making process with identification of engineers and managers involved in the decision;
- Definition of a sales strategy project by project, with definition of an action plan and company resources and efforts deployment to win the project;
- Proposals elaboration and or coordination involving the company experts to analyze and match tender and spec requirements.
- Reporting of the sales activity to division management for the necessary risk assessment, approvals and "go no go" decision;
Profil :
The jobholder ideally has already performed sales experience and he likes to work in team, is easy to develop relationship with customers, has capacity to perform sales and technical presentations with ppt in front of customer audience, he is used to work with PC and CRM tools, works from remote location travelling most of the time without any problem.
The job requires:
- Process industry application knowledge (Oil & Gas, Metal, Glass, Chemical, others);
- Instrumentation and process analyzers knowledge;
- Mobility over the French territory 3 to 4 days per week, availability to travel abroad for company projects as well as for products training and sales meeting.
Experience
The jobholder should have the following background: experience of at least three-five years selling of instrumentation and equipment in the process industry with positive track records. Work experience in engineering design in contractors engineers would be welcome.
Education
- University education in chemical or physics science or Technical institute education after baccalaureate;
- French and English spoken fluently;
Offering
Salary will depend of the experience and qualificartions. The company also offer incentive plan, company car, full expense while travelling. The company offers product training and job orientation in the first month of employment. The job residence is located in the east periphery of Paris or at home (Lyon area or Marseille area)
